UNESCO World Natural Heritage
Dolomites and Bletterbach are World Natural Heritage
Since today the 26th june 2009 it's official.
After long anxiety the Dolomites and the Bletterbach has been accepted as world natural heritage.
The criteria are: the scenic beauty and the geologic inimitability, at wich the Geoparc Bletterbach scored especial near the second dot.
The territories from the Dolomites and the Bletterbach lie in five provinces: Bolzano, Trento, Belluno, Pordenone and Udine.
